10 arrested in Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat after child exploitation investigation

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team’s Operation ICE Storm 3 has lead to 10 arrests in connection with child exploitation.

The ALERT Internet Child Exploitation team arrested the 10 individuals as suspects in Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, Alta.

Further details will be made available at a news conference Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. when Sheldon Kennedy, S/Sgt. John Guigon and Det. Justin Brookes will speak to the media.

ICE is a team of members from Calgary police, Lethbridge police and Medicine Hat police, as well as RCMP.

The ICE team deals with cases involving child pornography, child luring/sexual abuse over the internet and child sex trade/tourism.
