Starting Wednesday morning, Brandon residents will be able to hop on a direct, non-stop flight to Toronto.
This is the first time WestJet is offering this service, which runs from June 28 to Sept. 5. The airline will fly return flights between the two cities four times a week — and there’s a chance the schedule could be extended depending on demand.

The inaugural inbound flight from Toronto lands Tuesday at 11:18 p.m. The first flight to Toronto heads out of Brandon Wednesday at 5:15 a.m., and costs around $383.
