Two wildfires, sparked by a storm near Whistler, are now under control.
Both fires are burning on the back side of Whistler Mountain — one near the mountain’s peak and the other between Whistler Mountain and Cheakamus Lake Road.

Officials say the fires were started during a thunder and lightning storm, which also brought heavy hail to the area.
