Calgarian killed while mountain climbing on Mount Robson

A Calgarian has been identified as the man killed while mountain climbing in B.C. on Monday.

35-year-old Bradley Joyce died in a fall on Mount Robson, in B.C.

He’d been crossing a snow bridge when it gave way.

Joyce fell into a crevasse and was covered by a small avalanche.

His climbing partner went for help, but unfortunately, it was too late.

Joyce is being described as an experienced mountaineer.

He lived in Banff and worked as a line cook at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts for two years.

Mount Robson is located about 100 kilometres west of Jasper.
