RCMP are hoping to determine what caused a collision between a train and a semi-trailer in southern Alberta on Wednesday.
The crash happened on Highway 4 and Range Road 211, south of Lethbridge, at around 8:30 a.m.
Motorists travelling in the area were forced to take an alternate route, as the collision caused the temporary closure of Highway 4 south of 43 Street South.

It’s unknown if anyone was injured in the collision.
