A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a weekend stabbing in Leduc that sent a man to hospital.
On Monday, RCMP said a 17-year-old boy was arrested shortly after officers were called to an early morning stabbing in the 4700 block of 53 Avenue on Sunday.
The victim was rushed to hospital in Edmonton where he continues to recover but is listed in stable condition.
The identity of the accused is not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is charged with aggravated assault and is scheduled to appear in Leduc Court on July 8.
