Alberta RCMP charge 4 people in Calgary-area fentanyl bust

RCMP have laid charges against four people following a drug bust in the Calgary area.

Officers executed two search warrants on two homes on June 17; one in Calgary and one in Airdrie.

Among the items seized were over 200 grams of cocaine, fentanyl, MDMA, Canadian currency and assorted trafficking paraphernalia.

Four people were charged, including:

  • Andrew Knapp, 31, and Honour Toth, 26, both of Calgary. They have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Both are scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on July 14.
  • Karlee Kettner, 28, of Airdrie, has been charged with five offences including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and trafficking. She is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on July 7.
  • Wade Gunoff, 34, of Airdrie, has been charged with 10 offences including trafficking, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance.  He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on June 23.
