Calgary police are looking to the public for help as they investigate an attempted abduction in the community of Killarney.
It happened in the 2800 block of 23 Avenue S.W. at around 3:30 p.m. on June 8.
Investigators said the victim had just arrived home when he was approached by two men who exited an older-model green SUV. One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the victim go with them in their vehicle.
“The victim began banging his car and honking his horn to draw attention, causing the suspects to flee,” said police in a news release.
Investigators are searching for three male suspects.
Few details are known, but police said the incident is believed to be targeted, and not random.
Anyone with information asked to call the Calgary police non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or contacts Crime Stoppers.
