It’s been almost two months since a 66-year-old man was struck while cycling in southwest Calgary and left unconscious at the side of the road.
As police continue to investigate the hit-and-run, they’re now turning to the public for help, hoping they can help them find a suspect.
The collision happened just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 24th, around the intersection of 130 Avenue S.W. and Wood Valley Gate S.W.

Allen Leier lost consciousness, and was found a short time later by a Good Samaritan who stopped to help.
He suffered a major concussion, cuts and substantial bruising all over his body. His helmet was cracked as well.
The victim has no recollection of the collision, but police say his injuries are consistent with being struck by the side mirror of a large vehicle.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who has information relating to it is asked to contact police.
