A two-month undercover RCMP investigation targeting the Kelowna drug trade has led to 39 arrests.
The suspects are “alleged to have sold a variety of illegal drugs including heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine to the undercover officers,” said Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey.
“As a result, the 39 suspects face as many as 59 counts of trafficking.”
The arrests occurred during a 10-day surge at the end of April and beginning of May.
While some suspects remain in police custody, others have since been released on a promise to appear in court.
