A nine-year-old boy has been found safe after being reported missing in Chase, B.C., east of Kamloops.
It has been discovered that Brooklyn (his last name has not been provided) was at a friend’s house for a sleepover. His friend’s parents were unaware Brooklyn’s parents did not know where he was.

Kamloops Search and Rescue manager Alan Hobler says Brooklyn told his hosts he had permission to stay overnight.
The boy was reported missing when he was last seen biking around Chase and was expected to be home before dark.
A search was launched for the missing child early Friday morning.
