Taxi driver dies after Highway 20 crash

MONTREAL – A taxi driver is dead following a late night accident on Highway 20 in Baie d’Urfé.

The 52-year-old driver was found unconscious in his car by bystanders around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses said the man was driving erratically, slowing down before crashing into concrete barriers along the road.

He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say it’s likely he suffered a medical emergency while driving.
