Ken Malcolm of Total Restoration says the company is heading north where thousands of homes need to be cleaned because of smoke damage and food rotting in fridges and freezers.

Qualified workers must pass criminal record checks, and offer up their drivers abstracts to join the team.

Malcolm says with their experience with the 2003 fires at Okanagan Mountain, they know how to get families back into their homes as quickly as possible.

Wages start at $20 per hour for cleaners and general labourers with overtime and bonuses possible.

Meals and accommodations will be taken care of.

Resumes can be emailed to Total Restoration at info@totalrestore.ca, along with a criminal record check and drivers abstract.
