ILVERTON, Ont. – Provincial police say 120 goats and a number of other animals were lost in a pair of barn fires that broke out in Perth County.
OPP say officers and firefighters were called to a barn engulfed in flames around 11 p.m. on Thursday.

They say the fire completely destroyed the barn and killed 120 goats, 20 cows and four horses.
While that blaze was being fought, the flames spread to a barn on a neighbouring property.
Firefighters were unable to control that second fire and its unknown how many animals were lost in that barn, which held dairy cattle.
Provincial police say both fires are currently suspicious in nature.
