It’s not every day that hundreds of cyclists ride naked through downtown Vancouver but this Saturday, onlookers will get an eyeful when the World Naked Bike Ride takes over city streets.
The Naked Bike Ride is an annual event organized to protest car culture and oil spills. It also serves to promote a handful of causes from human-powered transportation to body positivity.

Crowds of nude and semi-nude cyclists will meet at Sunset Beach at noon on June 11 for body painting and performances and then head off for a ride winding through the downtown core beginning at 2 p.m. Organizers recommend those baring it all lather on the sunscreen and cover their bicycle seat with something soft.
The ride, which takes place in 70 cities and 20 countries around the world, will go on rain or shine.
