Crowsnest Pass RCMP, fire and EMS officials were called to the scene of a single quad rollover in a forested area just north of Coleman, Alta., at 9:30 Friday night.
RCMP said the quad was being operated with two people on it when it lost control rolled down an embankment.

The female passenger sustained minor injuries while the male driver died as a result of the accident.

The identities of the two will not be released until police have notified the next of kin.
Police continue to investigate the rollover and believe alcohol was a factor.
