Fort McMurray man killed in northeastern Alberta collision

A 27-year-old Fort McMurray man was killed in a crash near Cold Lake, Alta. on Wednesday.

RCMP said the victim was navigating a curve in the road on Secondary Highway 892 when his vehicle rolled into a ditch. It happened about 13 kilometres north of Ardmore, Alta.

The driver and lone occupant was ejected from the vehicle. Police said he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

No other injuries were reported.

Cold Lake is located about 300 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
