Metro Vancouver could soon see a number of new casinos.
The B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is planning on meeting with local governments and First Nations on the North Shore, as well as Surrey and Delta, to gauge interest in hosting a casino.

There are currently none on the North Shore and BCLC says communities south of the Fraser are also under-served.
Local governments could see up to $2.2 million in gaming revenue on the North Shore each year and $3 million in Surrey and Delta.
