MONTREAL – A rivalry in waiting?
Less than 24 hours after Montreal Impact central defender Nelson Rivas and Philadelphia Union forward Jack McInerney were sent off due to a shoving match, their teams met again for the second time.
A friendly match at the Saputo Stadium between their reserved teams ended 5-1 in favour of Montreal.
But there was no shortage of pushing and fighting.
Meanwhile, Montreal and Philadelphia journalists have their own sporting rivalry going on – on Twitter.
