WINNIPEG — Around 1,000 residents in north River Heights will be without power Thursday evening.
Manitoba Hydro is planning a power outage in the area between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

The area affected runs from Doncaster Street east to Lindsay Street, and from Grosvenor Avenue north to Portage Avenue.
The outage will allow crews to install power cables for new residential development in the area.
