Since Daniel Craig has allegedly turned down a contract to star in another James Bond film, the search is on for who will play the next 007 spy. But what about a female bond?
Over the weekend, The X-Files star Gillian Anderson said that she would be up for the job. “It’s Bond. Jane Bond,” the 47-year-old actress tweeted with the hashtag “#NextBond.”
And Anderson isn’t the only woman throwing her hat in the race. When Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra was told she would make a great Bond girl, she replied that she would rather be Bond. “I get that all the time,” she tells Complex magazine, “But f**k that. I wanna be Bond!”
