A male truck driver was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a collision on Highway 27 in Rexdale early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m. on the northbound lane of Highway 27 northwest of Toronto as a Purolator truck rear-ended a dump truck.

Police say the truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries and two others suffered minor injuries.
The collision took place just two blocks away from a fatal crash on Tuesday afternoon.
One person was killed and three others were rushed to hospital after a dump truck crashed into two other vehicles on Highway 27 near Humber College Boulevard.
There’s no word yet on the cause of both collisions.
