City Park would not become the home of the Kelowna Lawn Bowling Club until 1940, where games are hosted on lush green manicured lawns to this day.
To help boost membership, the club is inviting residents to attend an open house and learn the game on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
New player sessions take place every Wednesday night.
