A child pornography complaint to the Saskatchewan internet child exploitation (ICE) unit has ended with charges against a Warman man. Police received the complaint after a relative of a three-year-old girl found images on a smartphone.
The investigation led to Jeremy Maendel, 28, who was a family friend.
It is alleged that Maendel took the photos in March while she was in his care and sleeping at a residence near Duck Lake.
