Charges pending against Saskatoon man struck by car on Circle Drive

SASKATOON – Police say a 19-year-old man was struck by a car and suffered non-life threatening injuries in Saskatoon Friday. Alcohol is considered a factor on the part of the pedestrian.

Emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Circle Drive at Avenue C North just after 10:30 p.m. CT.

Police say the Saskatoon man tried to cross Circle Drive against the “Don’t Walk” signal and was struck by an eastbound vehicle.

He was taken to hospital by MD Ambulance.

Police say charges are pending against the pedestrian.
