SASKATOON – A man is facing a variety of charges after a driver in a stolen vehicle attempted to evade police. A Saskatoon patrol officer attempted to make a traffic stop around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at Confederation Drive and 22nd Street West.
The driver refused to stop and took off. The officer did not pursue the vehicle due to road conditions.
The vehicle, reported stolen from Prince Albert, was located a few minutes later in the 3600-hundred block of John A. MacDonald Road.
