RCMP have a man in custody after a man was shot in the foot in Middle Sackville Tuesday morning.
Officers and a K-9 unit were called to a home in the 2600 block of Sackville Drive at about 3:30 a.m.

When they arrived they found a 44-year-old man who had been shot in the foot. He was later taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 43-year-old Mount Uniacke man police say is a person of interest in the case was arrested at about 6 a.m.
RCMP say officers will be at the scene throughout the day continuing the investigation.
