Police in Saint John, N.B. are investigating the discovery of what are believed to be human remains.
The remains were discovered over the weekend in a wooded area off the Black River Road on the outskirts of the city.

Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Units along with additional support personnel are conducting the investigation.
In a statement, Sgt. Lori Magee says additional forensic testing will be needed to identify the remains.
