Two people are in custody following a bust of what appears to be a synthetic drug lab inside a White Rock home.
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. obtained a warrant to search the house, which resulted in the detention of the two suspects.
A 46-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman found inside were taken into custody around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The home was located in the 800 block of Parker Street in White Rock.
RCMP’s Federal Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team has been called to support the investigation.
The team is responsible for dismantling clandestine drug laboratories and supports police agencies across the province.
They will also be dealing with the materials found inside the house that may be too dangerous for other officers to be in contact with.
The house will be contained overnight while evidence is being processed.
No charges have been laid. Police say there is no risk to the public.
