REGINA – One man has been arrested after he chased down an antelope on a dirt bike and killed it just south of Paynton, Sask on Friday.

According to RCMP, a person on a green dirt bike chased down a wild animal, hit it several times with the vehicle and killed it.

Police investigation determined that the carcass of the wild animal was brought to Little Pine First Nation.

A 40-year-old male from the Little Pine First Nation was arrested and charged with causing unnecessary suffering or harm to an animal.
