Police say a Mississauga man has died in hospital from critical injuries after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into oncoming traffic on the QEW.
Provincial police said Sunday the 33-year-old succumbed to the life-threatening injuries he sustained in the three-vehicle collision near Hurontario Street just before midnight Friday.

They said he was travelling eastbound when he suddenly crashed through the guardrail, then hit two vehicles in the westbound lanes. Four people in those vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The man’s name has not been released pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the OPP Port Credit Detachment.
