WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police are looking for a suspect after a backpack was stolen from a city bus. The owner of the backpack got off the bus at at Main St. and Alfred Ave. around 4:45 p.m. on March 26, leaving her bag behind. When the 58-year-old woman caught up with the bus a few blocks later, it was gone.
Police are releasing surveillance images of a man leaving the the bus with the victim’s backpack. If you can identify him, contact police at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
