FREDERICTON – Internet service provider Xplornet Communications Inc. said Wednesday it is hiring 55 new employees for its customer care centre in Fredericton this year.

The company said the additional sales and service workers will increase the staff by roughly a third to 215 to keep up with demand for its service.
