A week ago, it was only a small crack. Now another slump along the city’s riverbank is causing concern for residents, this time near the intersection of Saskatchewan Crescent and 16th Street.
This slump is massive with several people who stopped by shocked to see the extent of movement.
Homeowners were sent letters informing them about traffic restrictions and the construction they can expect.

Work to repair the slump will be carried out in phases.
First, during the spring and summer months, contractors will assess the slumping and come up with different options.
Construction could then start in fall.
The slope was blocked off Monday and could be closed permanently if conditions worsen.
