When officers turned around, the driver headed northbound and struck a pickup truck. The van then crossed the sidewalk and went through a fence before coming to a rest against a neighbouring house at 20th Street and Avenue V.

No injuries were reported.

Three people fled the van and police took two of them into custody near the scene of the crash. Charges are pending against a 26-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.

The third suspect is still at large as the investigation continues.

Police say the van was not the original stolen vehicle the officers thought it was, but it was in fact another stolen vehicle.
