Youth with knife causes lockdown at Moose Jaw’s Central Collegiate

REGINA – Central Collegiate school in Moose Jaw was under a lockdown earlier today after a report of a teenager with a knife.

The school went into lockdown mode at around 11:30 a.m. this morning following a call that an agitated 16-year-old brought a knife in.

The teen was taken into custody following a brief negotiation and was transported to a nearby hospital to be assessed.

There were no injuries and the incident is still under investigation.
