Yorkton, Sask. teen missing for nearly two months

Yorkton RCMP are once again renewing their request to help locate a missing teen who may have travelled to the Saskatoon or Regina area.

There have been reports that Mekayla Bali has been located but that is not the case and RCMP are still looking for her.

Mekayla Bali, 16, was last seen at a bus station in Yorkton, Sask. She was reported missing on April 12.

Police are aware of rumours circulating that Mekayla is in Regina or Saskatoon and local detachments have been made aware of these reports but this information has not been confirmed and RCMP want to speak with her to make sure she is physically OK.

Bali is described as Caucasian, five-foot two, 125 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She also goes by the name Mekayla Niebergall.

She is known to change her appearance. Police say her red-ish hair can be dyed blond or other colours. Bali is also known to wear her hair down, pulled back, straight or wavy.

Bali sometimes wears dark rimmed glasses and a teal/mint coloured infinity scarf.

RCMP say there is no evidence Bali has come to harm or has left Canada.

Anyone with information on Bali’s whereabouts is asked to contact Yorkton RCMP at 306-786-2400, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or their local police service.
