Shih Tzu-poodle dog stolen from bench in downtown Toronto

Toronto police are asking for help finding a Shih Tzu-poodle after the dog was stolen from a bench in the downtown east-end last month.

“Romeo” was stolen around 11:20 a.m. on March 25 while tied to a bench at Sherbourne and Isabella streets.

Police said the dog’s owner returned to find the white-and-brown poodle mix gone.

The dog is 15 years old, weighs 4 to 5 pounds and was wearing a red multi-coloured sweater with a blue collar and brown leash.
