Southwestern Manitoba is being dropped back into winter. Heavy snowfall is on the way for many parts of southwestern Manitoba.
Environment Canada issued a number of snowfall warnings Tuesday warning up to 10 to 15 centimetres could be seen by the evening. Those warnings ended just before 4 p.m.
This snow is coming ahead of an Alberta Clipper currently over southern Saskatchewan. Snow started Tuesday morning and is expected to continue through the day before ending in the evening.
The rapidly falling snow could result in dangerous roads and travelling conditions as visibility can suddenly be reduced in the heavy snow.
