Incumbent Glen Hart and the Saskatchewan Party have retained their seat in the Last Mountain-Touchwood riding. He defeated five other candidates on election day.
Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan leader Rick Swenson was running as a candidate.

This will be Hart’s fifth term in the provincial riding.

He is one of the province’s longest serving MLAs and is currently deputy speaker of the legislative assembly.
The Saskatchewan NDP held this seat for two terms prior to the creation of the Saskatchewan Party. The last NDP win was in 1995.
