WINNIPEG — Emergency crews were called to the 700 block of Alexander Avenue Monday around 3:30 p.m. after a fire tore through a garage.
When officers arrived, the garage was engulfed in flames but crews were able to quickly put it out.
The garage is completely destroyed and the neighbouring shed is also damaged.
There were no injuries. Officers said the house was under renovation and no one was home. There was also a school next door, which was not affected.
No word on what started the blaze.
