Wiretaps between three people accused of killing Calgary father Ryan Lane were played for the jury Friday.
Sheena Cuthill, her husband Tim Rempel and his brother Will Rempel are all accused of the first-degree murder of Lane.
The 24-year-old man disappeared in February of 2012.
An extensive search eventually led to the discovery of charred remains in a barrel in a gravel pit near Beiseker.
In one intercepted conversation played for the jury, Tim Rempel calls his mother – saying his jeep had been seized by police.
“Got a problem,” he said.
“Got cops here at my work – they just served me with a f***g warrant and they’re seizing the jeep.”
“They’re looking for anything Ryan Lane – fingerprints, hair, blood,” he said.

In another call Sheena Cuthill asks her grandfather not to talk to police.
“Unless they come handcuff you, you don’t have to go in,” she said.
The conversations heat up after Will is questioned by homicide detectives.
Will calls Tim and asks to meet in person.

Will told his brother he was “grilled” by a homicide detective for hours.
“They wouldn’t even let me have a f***g bathroom break,” he complained.
Will tells Tim the detective played a recording for him, and accuses his brother Tim and Sheena Cuthill of putting the blame on him.
“From what I heard on the tape you and Sheena hung me out to dry,” he said.
Tim tells Will, “I did not do that and to the best of my knowledge Sheena did not either.”
But Will tells Tim he worries about going to jail for life.
“They got information that they really shouldn’t f***g have.. and I’m worried,” he said.
The Crown is expected to finish calling evidence in the trial on Monday.
