CALGARY – Three people are facing charges after police seized almost $35,000 in drugs and cash during a drug trafficking investigation in southern Alberta.
Police said the drugs were located in a Medicine Hat home located in the 700 block of 12 Street N.W. on March 30.
Among the items seized were:
- 27 grams of powder cocaine
- 85 grams of crack cocaine
- 59 grams of methamphetamine
- 40 grams of marijuana
- $14,000 cash
- Prohibited brass knuckles

Donald Perini, 40, of Medicine Hat is facing several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 7. Police said Perini was previously arrested for similar offences in May 2015.
Olivia Marshall, 25, of Medicine Hat if facing multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 29.
Graham Groeneveld, 57, of Lethbridge has been charged with possession of proceeds of crime and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 28.
