GO Transit launches etiquette campaign to eliminate bad behaviour

Anyone who has taken public transit knows rude passengers can often make a long journey even more unbearable.

Whether it’s someone blocking the doorway or someone just taking up an extra seat with their personal belongings, there always seems to be one or more people breaking the etiquette rules.

GO Transit has taken steps to curb unwanted behaviour with the launch of an etiquette campaign.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

A video released on Friday shows a number of ways which riders can be an annoyance to others.

Some of the taboos include putting feet on seats, noisy passengers or people just taking up priority seating areas reserved for those in need.
