A Grand-Barachois, N.B., man’s home — considered proceeds of a crime — was forfeited to the Crown after he pleaded guilty to drug charges earlier this month.
New Brunswick RCMP arrested Guy Joseph Cormier on Feb. 12, 2015.
He was charged him with four counts of trafficking hydromorphone, two counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, and one count of possession of methamphetamine.
Cormier, 47, pleaded guilty to those charges on March 18, 2016.
He was subject of Operation Lunge, which began in September 2013 with the aim of disrupting illegal drug activity and distribution.
RCMP in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island were involved.
Police say the home he forfeited is worth $468,000.
Sentencing is set for March 31 at 1:30 p.m in Moncton Provincial court.
