Advance voting begins for Saskatchewan election

Advance voting to choose the next Saskatchewan government starts Tuesday. File / Global News

The first ballots in Saskatchewan’s provincial election are set to be cast. Tuesday, March 29, marks the first day of advance voting.

Ballots for the rest of the business week can be made at select locations from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT as well as on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.

Elections Saskatchewan asks voters to bring their information card and a piece of identification to the ballot location.

The official election day is April 4. More than 92 per cent of eligible voters in the province have registered to vote.
