CALGARY – It is officially spring and for many, that means hitting the greens.
Several courses around the city opened Saturday.
Golfers can test their swing on the driving range and front nine at McCall Lake and 18 holes on the permanent greens at Shaganappi Point are also open.
McKenzie Meadows also welcomed its earliest opening ever this weekend.
The early tee times this season mean a big payday for courses, which counts for a lot after the 2013 floods and recent years of a shorter season due to rain.
