MONTREAL – Police are investigating after a brazen daytime shooting in the borough of Rosemont sent a 20-year-old man to hospital.
At 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, police received a 9-1-1 call about possible gunshots fired.
Responding officers located a man with wounds to his upper and lower body on Bellechasse Street near 20th Avenue.
He was rushed to hospital but there is no word yet on the extent of his injuries.
Police are on scene gathering evidence and looking for witnesses.
According to Manuel Couture with Montreal police, the victim is not collaborating with the investigation.
