Hamilton police have identified the city’s fifth homicide victim this year.
They say 43-year-old Joseph Colson was found at a downtown residence Friday night with life-threatening injuries and died in hospital.

An autopsy was conducted but cause of death is not being released.
The force’s forensics unit remained on the scene Saturday and a blood-pattern analyst from Niagara police was called in.
