TORONTO – Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU) said Friday that its Gary Jonas Computing Ltd. business management software subsidiary has bought New Century Software Inc.
Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
“Adding the New Century organization to our team further strengthens our place in the construction market,” Jonas chief executive Barry Symons said in a statement.

New Century, based in Richmond Hill, Ont., provides software support and consulting for the construction industry. It specializes in accounting and management software for construction, trade and service contractors.
Constellation holds a portfolio of software companies in a variety of markets including the public and private sector.
Shares in the company were down four cents at $92.18 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday.
